Ross is a successful entrepreneur, business-owner, professional championship-winning race car driver, author of a best-selling series of performance driving books, engaging speaker, and one of the most sought-after coaches in North America.

In the mid-90s he turned to competing in the world of prototype sports cars, winning the Driver's Championship in the 1998 United States Road Racing Championship, and then in 2003 won the prestigious Daytona 24-Hour Race.
